Build-transfer agreements: Full project ownership for our partners<\/h2>\n

Under a build-transfer agreement (BTA), Lightsource bp develops and builds the solar project, transferring ownership to the counterparty at a defined point. Lightsource bp manages development, procurement, engineering and construction.<\/p>\n

Depending on customer preference, the project can transfer into the customer\u2019s ownership upon issuing Notice to Proceed, or when the project enters commercial operations. The transfer includes full sale of the project attributes, including land rights, equipment, interconnection and all products from the facility, including electricity and Renewable Energy Credits.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
