At Lightsource bp, we strongly believe in solar\u2019s ability to make a difference to the agricultural economy. Our solar projects deliver secure, long-term, bankable income to landowners<\/a> while also generating renewable energy, and we\u2019re committed to making sure that we\u2019re having as much of a positive impact as possible.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we\u2019ve reinstated our membership of the National Farmers Union in the UK. We worked with the NFU on projects across the UK for many years when large-scale solar was first getting off the ground, supporting farmers and growers in England and Wales to diversify their businesses and secure long-term, reliable income. During this period of time, Lightsource bp and the NFU partnered on a number of events and initiatives designed to raise awareness of how solar and farming can go hand in hand \u2013 take a look at the video below for one example.<\/p>\n
