At Lightsource bp, we\u2019re committed to having a positive impact on our local communities, and we\u2019re always looking for opportunities to make a difference to the people living around our solar projects. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve partnered with the Clontarf Foundation\u2019s Wellington Academy, near our\u00a0Wellington Solar Farm<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0in New South Wales, Australia.<\/p>\n

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so equips them to participate more meaningfully in society. Throughout the partnership, which will span the lifetime of our Wellington Solar Farm, we\u2019ll contribute $10,000 annually towards the Clontarf Wellington Academy. As well as the financial contribution, our staff will work with the Clontarf Foundation to provide engagement, education, mentoring, employment and social responsibility opportunities for students at the Wellington Academy. We\u2019re hopeful that this flagship commitment will pave the way for partnerships with other Clontarf Foundation Academies across Australia, as our project pipeline progresses.<\/p>\n

Our outreach and engagement isn\u2019t just limited to Australia \u2013 to find out more about how we\u2019re working with communities worldwide<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
